Zubeen Garg asks Assamese Youth to avoid Violence

Guwahati, November 15, 2018:

Heartthrob of the Assamese youth, Zubeen Garg on Wednesday urged the youths of Assam to stay away from violence and try to be patient over the prevailing issues.

The singer said that many of the people who joined militant outfits like the United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I) has undergone negotiation and returned back home. However it is surprising to witness the pull of the youths towards the outfit.

Moreover, Zubeen urged Paresh Baruah, the Commander in Chief of ULFA-I to drop arms and return back home and sit for peace talks.
