16 Flipkart Minutes employees allegedly fired without explanation in Assam's Tinsukia

Sixteen employees of Flipkart Minutes in Chirapatty, Tinsukia, have alleged that they were removed from their jobs without being given any reason, prompting them to approach the media to raise their concerns.

The employees expressed anger over the company’s decision, claiming that they received a message in a WhatsApp group from the Flipkart Minutes management informing them of their removal. They said that when they sought clarification about the decision, the management failed to provide a satisfactory explanation or resolve their concerns.

The affected workers said they had been delivering products to customers across different locations in Tinsukia, often working through rain and other challenging weather conditions. They are now worried about their future and livelihood following the sudden loss of employment.

The employees have demanded that the company clearly explain the reasons behind their removal. They said that if the management had decided to terminate their services, it should provide a proper explanation for the decision.

The workers also alleged that Flipkart Minutes had been creating IDs for individuals below 18 years of age and using them for the company’s benefit. These allegations have not been independently verified.

The aggrieved employees have warned that they will oppose the recruitment of new workers unless the company explains why the 16 employees were removed from their jobs.
