<p>Following the storm, several birds were found dead or injured in the area. The dead and injured birds have been taken to the Jorhat Regional Forest Office, where they are currently being kept under the supervision of forest officials.</p>

<p>Forest authorities said the injured birds will be shifted to Panbari in Kaziranga for medical treatment and further care.</p>

<p>A forest department ranger said necessary steps are being taken to treat the injured birds and manage the situation.</p>
