All Assam Students' Union visits Kokrajhar to bolster presence, address local issues in BTR

A ten-member delegation from the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) central committee visited Kokrajhar, on March 2, with the objective of strengthening the organisation's presence in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and addressing local issues.

The visit comes as part of AASU's ongoing efforts to closely study the concerns faced by the people in the region.

The delegation gathered at the AASU office in Kokrajhar on March 1 evening and held an organisational meeting with local AASU members.

AASU Vice President Bhavjit Bezbaruah explained that the visit was in line with a decision made by the AASU Central Executive Committee to assess both the organisational status and the pressing public issues across the five districts of BTR.

The initiative aims to strengthen AASU's efforts in advocating for the rights and concerns of the people in the BTR.
