Amit Shah in Assam: Delhi road to be named after Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma

Home Minister Amit Shah, on March 16, addressed the 57th Annual Conference of the All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) at Bodofa Fwthar in Dotma, Kokrajhar, where he praised the significant role played by the ABSU in achieving peace and fostering development in Bodoland. 
 

As a token of appreciation, Amit Shah announced that a major road in Delhi would be named after Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma, a key figure in the Bodo movement. 
 

Additionally, in the first week of April, a bust of Upendra Nath Brahma will be installed in the presence of Assam's Chief Minister. 
 

Shah also took a moment to honor the martyrs whose sacrifices contributed to the peace in Bodoland, adding, "Today, I stand at the birthplace of Bodofa UN Brahma, and I pay my respects."
 

During his speech, Shah expressed gratitude to ABSU workers, stating, "First of all, I want to thank ABSU for giving me the opportunity to participate in this convention." 
 

The home minister concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to safeguarding Bathou Dharma, the traditional Bodo religion, and ensuring its recognition at the national level.
