Assam: 3,714 beneficiaries in Baksa receive Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana sanction letters

The distribution of approval letters under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) took place in the Manah Legislative Assembly constituency, marking a significant step towards housing development in the region.

The event saw the participation of Gautam Das, Executive Member of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), along with MLA Phanidhar Talukdar and Councilor Jay Musahari.

In a statewide initiative, Assam Chief Minister virtually launched the distribution process, benefiting 3,88,358 people across the state. As part of this drive, 3,714 beneficiaries in Manah constituency received their approval letters.

A large number of beneficiaries attended the event, personally collecting their approval documents, marking a crucial milestone in the state’s efforts to provide affordable housing to its residents.
