Assam: 7-year-old boy runs for his life to escape kidnappers in Bhawanipur

On April 18, an attempt was made to abduct a seven-year-old child in Bhawanipur Purba Lowashura, Bajali district. 

The child is the son of Mokibul Ali. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage.

Four miscreants arrived on two motorcycles and attempted the abduction in broad daylight. The attempt failed, and the child remained unharmed.

Mokibul Ali lodged an FIR at Bhawanipur Police Station on the same day. Despite the miscreants being identified, no action has been taken against them. 

Instead, there are allegations that the police have been harassing Mokibul by summoning him to the police station multiple times.

Mokibul has appealed to the Bajali Superintendent of Police for intervention.
