<p>The event was held on October 2, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti and the 155th International Day of Non-Violence.<br>
 </p>

<p>At the event, approximately 2,000 youth took a pledge to support nature conservation, underscoring the region's commitment to environmental stewardship.<br>

<p>In addition to the pledge ceremony, the event marked the inauguration of the Dr. Bashiram Baro Doctorate Fellowship scheme. <br>
 </p>

<p>Notable attendees included BTC Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro, Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, and the Vice-Chancellor of Bodoland University, Dr. B.L. Ahuja, along with students, community members, and representatives from various organisations.<br>

<p>CEM Pramod Boro highlighted the initiative as a proactive response to the global climate crisis, emphasising the critical role of the Green Bodoland Mission in combating environmental changes. The event showcased a unified effort to promote sustainability and foster a cleaner, greener future for the region.<br>
