Tension flared in Barhampur constituency of Nagaon district in Assam, during an election campaign by AJP (Assam Jatiya Parishad) candidate Rajen Gohain, leading to a clash between party workers and BJP supporters.

The incident took place at Sutar Muslim village under Sutar Khatowal Panchayat, where a charged atmosphere developed while Rajen Gohain was campaigning. The situation escalated after a section of BJP workers raised slogans against him.
