Assam: Class 10 student goes missing in Brahmaputra river

The community of Dhubri is in a state of shock after a Class 10 student, Arindam Saha, known as Deep, went missing in the Brahmaputra River on Thursday afternoon. 

The young man was last seen bathing in the river after playing a football match.

Deep, a student of Dhubri Shishu Pathshala Higher Secondary School, and his four friends went to the river for a bath following their game at the Raja Prabhat Chandra Baruah playground. 

Deep is a resident of Shanti Nagar in Ward No. 13, enjoyed a brief swim before realizing that Deep had disappeared.

Efforts to locate the missing teenager began immediately. Teams from the Border Security Force (BSF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been tirelessly searching the river to find any trace of Deep. 

Despite their best efforts, the young student remains untraceable, till filing of this report.
