A tense situation was reported at Sarupeta High School in Assam's Bajali district after a Class X student was allegedly assaulted by the school's headmaster, resulting in the student being admitted to hospital.

According to local sources, the student, identified as Ratul Rajbongshi of Kolbari village, sustained injuries following the alleged incident and was subsequently taken for medical treatment. The circumstances leading to the alleged assault have not yet been officially detailed.

The incident triggered strong reactions from the student's family members and local residents, who gathered at the school and demanded an explanation from the headmaster, Sanjiv Kumar Talukdar. They also sought accountability and appropriate action in connection with the matter.
