Assam CM celebrates NDA Victory in Nagaon’s Samaguri
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on November 8 participated in a grand victory celebration at Rupahi Higher Secondary School playground in Samaguri constituency of Nagaon district, fulfilling a promise he had made during the Nagaon Lok Sabha by-election campaign.
During the campaign, Sarma had promised voters that he would personally visit Rupahihat and celebrate with them if NDA alliance candidate Devasish Sharma emerged victorious.
Keeping his promise, the Chief Minister arrived by helicopter at Fakhli Eidgah in Rupahihat. He was subsequently taken to the celebration venue through a procession and rally, where he joined thousands of people gathered to mark the victory.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NDA workers and local residents, with celebrations spreading across the Samaguri constituency.
The victory celebration was organised in fulfilment of the Chief Minister’s commitment to the people during the election campaign.
