Serve, drive, smash: Himanta Biswa Sarma's badminton skills at Tezpur's new Indoor Stadium | Watch

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, on June 22, shared a video on X, in which he was seen playing badminton in the newly inaugurated indoor stadium at the Polo Ground in Tezpur.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the facility and the sport, Sarma said, "Serve, drive and smash. Played a few shots at the badminton court of the newly inaugurated Indoor Stadium at Polo Ground, Tezpur. Pleased to see kids taking up badminton so passionately these days." 

The Chief Minister's visit to the stadium included a brief session on the badminton court, where he played a few shots, highlighting the significance of sports and physical activity among the youth.

Sarma also noted the growing interest in badminton among children, which was evident from their passionate participation.
