Residents of Guwahati have expressed frustration over seized vehicles parked on the roadside outside Dispur Police Station, along Gopal Boro Government Higher Secondary School in the busy Ganeshguri area.
Known for its bustling marketplace, the area already faces significant traffic congestion, and the additional obstruction caused by these vehicles has aggravated the situation for daily commuters.
Local resident Senjam Raj Sekhar took to social media platform X to voice his concern, stating: "Dispur Police Station has mistakenly parked these vehicles in the busy Ganeshguri Bazaar. Maybe it's time to find these majestic rides a more suitable home. P.S. Photo taken during early morning."

The post, accompanied by a video of the vehicles, highlights the inconvenience caused even during less busy hours. Residents are urging authorities to relocate the seized vehicles to a more appropriate location to ease congestion in this high-traffic zone.
In response, Assam's Director General of Police (DGP) addressed the issue on the same platform, stating: "We are working on this problem confronting us. Hopefully, a solution shall be found soon. Thanks for pointing out."
Police and civic authorities have yet to respond to the concerns, but the issue has sparked a conversation about better management of public spaces in busy urban areas.
