Assam: Drug peddler arrested in Nagaon, 16 drug-filled containers seized

In a continued crackdown against illegal narcotics, Juria Police in Nagaon arrested an alleged drug peddler and seized 16 containers filled with suspected narcotic substances during an operation.
 

According to police, the operation was carried out in Udmari area of Juria based on specific intelligence inputs.
 

The arrested accused has been identified as Shahidul Islam, who is suspected to be involved in drug trafficking in the area.
 

Police said the accused is currently being interrogated, and further investigation is underway to trace possible links in the drug network.
