Assam: ED conducts raid at tea trader’s residence in Dibrugarh

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday, February 4 conducted a raid at the residence and business premises of prominent tea trader Rajen Lohia in Dibrugarh. 

The operation, which commenced in the morning time at around 6 am, is being carried out at Lohia’s private residence on Kartik Para Road in Thana Chariali in Dibrugarh, Assam.  

While details regarding the purpose of the raid remain undisclosed, sources indicate that it is part of an ongoing investigation. 

Authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the developments.
