Assam: Expelled Congress member identified as key accused behind attack on MP Pradyut Bordoloi's convoy

The Assam Police have successfully identified the main accused involved in the attack on the vehicles of Member of Parliament Pradyut Bordoloi and Shivamoni Bora. 


The individual has been identified as Imdadul Islam, a resident of Bhuragaon in Morigaon district. Notably, Islam was expelled from the Congress party just two days prior to the incident.


Providing updates on the investigation, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Akhilesh Kumar Singh and Nagaon Superintendent of Police (SP) Swapnaneel Deka addressed the media at Batadrava Police Station earlier today. 


The senior officers elaborated on the progress of the case and assured that strict legal action will be pursued against those responsible.

Authorities are continuing further investigation to ascertain the complete circumstances surrounding the attack.
