Assam: Father stabs drunkard son to death in a fit of rage

A sensational incident of murder that took place in Sivasagar has shaken the entire district. 

A 28-year-old son was stabbed to death by the father in a fit of anger. The father, Ramen Barua, claimed that he committed the crime out of frustration because his son was a drunkard and used to cause a lot of chaos in the drunken state. He used to come home late at night and behave like a rowdy. 

It has been alleged that a state of unrest was created in the house whenever the victim used to drink alcohol. The victim’s brother claimed that the father used to break down whenever the victim used to misbehave while using foul language with the father. 

On the night of the incident, the victim had come home in a drunken state and started using foul language while talking to his father. Ramen Barua could not tolerate it anymore and with the help of a machete, he stabbed his son.
