Assam: Fire erupts in oil pipeline at New Bongaigaon railway station, major disaster averted

A fire broke out in an oil pipeline at New Bongaigaon Railway Station on February 22, triggering an emergency response.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities are yet to determine the factors leading to the incident. 

Upon receiving the alert, three fire engines were swiftly deployed to the site. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control, preventing further damage.

Investigations are underway to ascertain the exact cause of the fire and assess any potential risks to railway infrastructure.
