Assam: Fire erupts near Asom Sahitya Sabha’s 77th Biennial Session, triggers panic

A massive fire broke out near the 77th Biannual Session of Asom Sahitya Sabha, creating panic among attendees and disrupting the literary gathering. The incident occurred on the second day of the prestigious event, sending shockwaves through the crowd.

The blaze originated at a local shop named "Amish", rapidly spreading and engulfing the establishment in flames. Witnesses described scenes of chaos as people scrambled to safety while firefighters rushed to the spot.

Despite the swift response from the fire department, the inferno completely gutted the business establishment within minutes. 

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, while no casualties have been reported so far.
