Assam: Forest department rescues massive python in Baksa district

In a remarkable rescue operation, the forest department of Assam successfully recovered a sizable python from the premises of a family in Dologaon, located in the Govardhana area of Baksa district.

The python, measuring an impressive fifteen feet in length and weighing approximately twenty kilograms, had found its way into the vicinity of the residential area, prompting concerns among locals.

Upon receiving the report, officials from the forest department swiftly responded to the situation, demonstrating their expertise in handling such wildlife encounters. Utilizing proper protocols and equipment, they safely captured the python, ensuring the well-being of both the reptile and the residents.
