Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, visited the revered Shakti Peeth Mahamaya Temple in Bogribari, Parbatjhora, Kokrajhar, on Sunday morning. Upon his arrival, the Governor offered prayers at the feet of Goddess Mahamaya, seeking blessings for the welfare and prosperity of the region.
Following the rituals at the temple, the Governor expressed his hopes for the community's upliftment and well-being. His visit underscores the importance of cultural and spiritual values in fostering harmony and development within the state.
After completing his prayers, Governor Acharya is scheduled to proceed to the Ramraikuti Satra in Dhubri, continuing his engagement with local traditions. He was accompanied by representatives from the district administrations of both Dhubri and Kokrajhar, reflecting a collaborative approach to governance and community outreach.
