Assam: Himanta Biswa Sarma and Bhupen Borah are brothers in arms, claims AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal has claimed that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Assam Congress President Bhupen Borah are "brothers in arms," raising eyebrows across the political spectrum.

Ajmal asserted that both the Congress and BJP have failed the people of Assam, describing their alliance as a complex web of friendships and enmities. "Our character is like a businessman, and business is not stealing," remarked Ajmal, emphasizing the need for transparency in political dealings.

Addressing the upcoming elections, Ajmal urged a thorough review of electoral ledgers, emphasizing the importance of updating information and rectifying any errors.

According to Ajmal, Congress currently leads the BJP's A-team, with the BJP functioning as the B-team. He cited Bhupen Borah, who allegedly claimed that Congress is in full control of the BJP party, citing the BJP's victory in 24 out of 25 MLA seats in the MP election.
