The roadshow, held on March 21, witnessed an overwhelming turnout as thousands of supporters, party workers, and local residents thronged the route, turning the event into a significant display of public backing ahead of the Assembly elections.
The procession began from Donkamokam and traversed through key locations including Kolanga, Jengkha, Kheroni Zero Point, and Kheroni Charali before culminating at Forest Bazar along the West Karbi Anglong–Hojai district border. Large crowds lined the route, cheering and extending support, reflecting strong grassroots enthusiasm in the newly delimited constituency.
In a notable moment during the roadshow, Ronghang made a devotional stop at a Shiv Mandir in Kheroni Charali, where he offered prayers along with party supporters, seeking blessings for a successful campaign and the region’s development.
Ronghang has served multiple terms as the Chief Executive Member of the KAAC and remains a key face of the BJP in the hill districts. Addressing supporters, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and development of the people of Rongkhang.
