Assam: Long queues in Kokrajhar for ADRE Class IV examination
The atmosphere in Kokrajhar is electric this morning as long queues form outside examination centers for the highly anticipated Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) for Class IV positions. Starting at 6 AM, thousands of candidates have flocked to Kokrajhar city.
Candidates, many with cheerful expressions, are arriving in droves, eager to participate in the recruitment process associated with the ADRE examination. The excitement is reflected in the hopeful sentiments shared by many, who believe this examination could be a stepping stone to secure stable employment in the state.
In a show of support, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended his best wishes to all students appearing for the exam. Through his official X account, he commended the efforts to maintain transparency and fairness in the recruitment process. "My best wishes to all the students appearing in the Grade IV Assam Direct Recruitment Exam 2024, tomorrow. The ADRE 2024 has set standards of transparency and fairness and an example for everyone to emulate," he stated.
To ensure the examination proceeds smoothly, mobile internet services across Assam will be suspended from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM today, as per an official notification.
