Assam: Major fire incident near Mega Mart in Central Morigaon, garage completely destroyed

Panic gripped central Morigaon on Thursday as a massive fire broke out near the bustling Mega Mart area, causing significant damage and triggering emergency response efforts.

According to local sources, the blaze completely engulfed one garage, reducing it to ashes. Thanks to the prompt and courageous intervention of nearby residents, several adjacent garages were successfully saved from catching fire.

Inside the affected garage, one vehicle was entirely destroyed in the flames. However, in a commendable display of determination, locals managed to retrieve another vehicle from the blaze after a strenuous effort.

Authorities are yet to ascertain the exact cause of the fire. Investigations are underway to determine the source and assess the extent of the damage. No casualties have been reported so far.
