Assam: Margherita records lone MBBS graduate in latest state medical results

Namrata Das has emerged as the only student from Margherita to clear the MBBS final examination this year, securing the 188th rank at the state level from Jorhat Medical College.

Her achievement has brought pride to the entire region, where such academic milestones remain rare. A consistent performer throughout her academic life, Namrata has also been active in acting, managing both pursuits with dedication.

She is the daughter of Dipankar Das, Secretary of the Namdang Tea Estate Group under the Margherita branch of the Assam Chah Karmachari Sangha.

Her success has been widely lauded by the community, with family members, local residents, and Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma expressing joy and appreciation for her accomplishment. Namrata's result stands as a strong example for young students in the region, particularly from tea garden backgrounds.
