Assam: Margherita youth draws attention for tattooing images of political leaders on his body

A young man from Assam's Margherita has become the centre of attention after tattooing images of his favourite political leaders across his body, sparking widespread discussion both offline and on social media.

The youth, identified as Manab Moran from Brahmajan in Pengeri, has inked portraits of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma on his body. According to locals, he has also placed photographs of the leaders, along with Minister Pijush Hazarika, in his home temple.

For Moran, the tattoos are not merely body art but an expression of deep admiration and emotional attachment towards the leaders he supports. While some have described his act as extreme devotion, others say it reflects his personal choice and political passion.

The unusual display of political loyalty has created a buzz in the region, making the young man a trending topic in Margherita and across social media platforms.
