Assam: Massive fire guts house in Jagun, property worth lakhs destroyed

Tragedy struck Jagun's Lakla Kankan village early morning of April 17 after a massive fire engulfed a house, destroying property worth lakhs.

Amidst Rongali Bihu celebrations across the state, Manoh Shungkrang of Jagun faced a harrowing time on April 17 after a fire gutted his house. Although none were injured in the incident, the blaze ravaged property estimaved to be worth approximately Rs 3 lakh.

After some delay, the fire brigade eventually arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, bringing the situation under control.

The reason behind the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
