Assam minister reviews flagship schemes in Margherita, focuses on development of 83rd constituency

In a bid to accelerate grassroots development, Tinsukia District Guardian Minister Bimal Borah visited Margherita on Wednesday and chaired a comprehensive review meeting with district officials to assess the implementation of key state government schemes in the 83rd Margherita Constituency.

Held at the Margherita Co-District Commissioner’s office conference hall, the meeting focused on progress in flagship initiatives such as the Arunodoi Scheme, Chief Minister Atmanirbhar Assam Campaign, Women Entrepreneurship Campaign, and the Chief Minister’s Ekti Kuli Duti Paat initiative, among others.

The review session was attended by Tinsukia DC Swapneel Paul, Margherita Co-DC Pritam Gogoi, Circle Officer Gyanjyoti Dutta, local MLA Bhaskar Sharma, Municipality Board Chairman Anand Kumar Sharma, panchayat officials, and various departmental staff.

Minister Borah emphasised the timely and efficient execution of welfare schemes to ensure that benefits reach the intended sections, reinforcing the state’s commitment to inclusive development in the region.
