Assam: Miscreants cut barbed wire fence at Golakganj to smuggle cattles to Bangladesh

In Jhaskal village of Golakganj in Assam's Dhubri district, few suspected Bangladeshi miscreants cut barbed wire fence last night on November 18 and allegedly stole two cows from the village near the BSF guarded barbed fencing area.

However, in the morning hours when Ali looked for the cows it was found missing and later he got the news that the barbed wire fence was cut near gate number eight at the Indo-Bangladesh border.

Meanwhile, how the miscreants managed to cut the BSF-guarded barbed fence at night has become a matter of discussion among the public.

High-level officials of the Border Security Force (BSF) and police arrived after receiving the news. The sniffer dog was later released from the spot. Sniffer Dog passed through paddy fields on the banks of the pond and arrived at Mohiruddin's house to locate the cows.

“Woke up in the morning and found that two of our cows were missing. Don’t know who took away or stole our cows. I went around the village to look out for the cows and found that the barbed fencing separating the border was cut off. I tried my best to trace the missing cows but in vain. At last, I filed an FIR at the police station. Well, we are suspecting that some Bangladeshi miscreants might have cut the barbed fencing and taken away the cows. I am just suspecting that it can be Bangladeshis who might have stolen my cows,” victim.
