Assam: Mission Basundhara 3.0 awareness drive conducted in Margherita, application deadline extended by 10 days

An awareness meeting on Mission Basundhara 3.0 was held on Saturday at the North Margherita Rangamancha, bringing together representatives from educational institutions, religious organizations, social organizations, and residents of the Margherita Co-District area. The initiative seeks to provide land patta allotment to institutions such as schools, religious bodies, and social organizations.

 

Originally, the deadline for applications under Mission Basundhara 3.0 was set for December 31, 2024, but the government has extended it by 10 days, allowing more time for institutions to participate in this land regularization program.

 

The meeting was graced by several dignitaries, including Tinsukia District Commissioner Swapneel Paul, Assistant District Commissioner Lina Pauwe, Margherita Co-District Commissioner Prakshit Thoudam, Block Development Officer Rohit Kumar Yadav, and Executive Officer of Margherita Municipal Board Dhiraj Bhattacharjee. Other prominent attendees included Margherita Municipal Board Chairman Anand Kumar Sharma, Circle Officer Gyanjyoti Dutta, Digboi Municipal Board Chairman Sudipta Dutta Choudhury, and Executive Officer Anirudha Borah, along with other senior officials from the Margherita Co-District.

 

The event emphasized the importance of Mission Basundhara 3.0, aiming to raise awareness and encourage institutions to submit their applications before the revised deadline. Authorities highlighted the program's potential to address longstanding land issues and bring about positive changes for the institutions involved.
