Assam: MP Pradyut Bordoloi walks out of Opposition meet after Akhil Gogoi’s “Fascist, Gaddar” remark against Congress

Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi walked out of the Opposition meet held today, March 1, held at Atithya Resort of Sonapur after a verbal scuffle with Raijor Dal chief and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi.

As per sources, Pradyut Bordoloi walked out of the meet after he urged Akhil Gogoi to be restrained while passing a statement to the media. Akhil Gogoi lost his cool after hearing this and started targeting Congress, allegedly calling them "Fascist, Gaddar".

Failed to control his nerve, Pradyut Bordoloi, visibly angry, walked out of the meet. Bhupen Borah also followed him to calm him down, but in vain.

The Opposition party meet was led by Dr Hiren Gohain, but was not present at the meet.

The meeting was in progress even after Bordoloi stepped out of the resort.

It is a developing story. More details awaited
