Assam: Mysterious death of labourer sparks outrage in Baksa
The mysterious death of a labourer, Bhavesh Kalita, has created a sensation in Assam's Baksa district. The incident occurred around 3 PM when Bhavesh Kalita, a carpenter from Garamdeo under the Musalpur police station, was working at the residence of Lavanya Das in Saraimari.
According to the victim's family, Bhavesh Kalita was allegedly assaulted by Lavanya Das and Kishore Das during a dispute related to a liquor racket. The family claims that the assault led to his death. Acting on the family's complaint, the Musalpur police have arrested the accused, Lavanya Das and Kishore Das.
Bhavesh Kalita's body was transported to Dr Ravi Boro Civil Hospital in Musalpur for a post-mortem examination. The incident has triggered widespread concern among locals, raising questions about safety and law enforcement in the area.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to uncover the circumstances leading to Bhavesh Kalita's death. The local community is demanding swift justice for the victim.
