Assam: Narrow escape for tourists after angry rhino chases gypsy inside Manas National Park

In a chilling episode that unfolded at Manas National Park, a majestic rhino was seen charging at a tourist vehicle on April 15. The incident took place in the Banhbari range of the park. 

The rhino, of considerable size, chased the vehicle from the front. A video capturing the scene shows the mammoth beast charging towards the tourist vehicle. 

Due to the quick thinking and adept driving of the vehicle's operator, the group of tourists managed to evade the rhino's aggressive pursuit. 

This is not the first time a rhino has chased a vehicle in the park, highlighting the unpredictable nature of wildlife encounters.

Amidst Rongali Bihu celebrations, tragedy struck Dergaon's Bogiarani village after a rhino attacked a crowd killing one while injuring another.

 During the early hours of Gorubihu, sensation spread when the raging rhino came charging towards the people, causing widespread fear in neighboring communities, including Bogariani and Hansowa.

 The incident significantly increased tension in the area.
