Assam: Nine-year-old Kristi Shikha sets national record for bilingual singing in 41 mins

Nine-year-old Kristi Shikha, the daughter of Parth Adhikari and Dr Vandana Kalita from Abhayapuri in Bongaigaon district, Assam, has earned a place in the India Book of Records for her remarkable achievement in bilingual singing. 

Kristi Shikha, a young and talented krishti shikha adhikari, set a national record by singing 21 songs continuously in 41 minutes and 34 seconds. Her performance included 15 Assamese songs and 6 Hindi songs, all sung without any background music.

This impressive feat marks the second time Kristi has been recognized by the India Book of Records, bringing national-level honor to her family and community. 

Her father, Parth Adhikari, is also a noted krishti shikha adhikari, and together they have brought significant recognition to Abhayapuri.

The achievement is particularly noteworthy because it showcases her dedication and versatility in performing in two languages seamlessly. Her accomplishment not only highlights her individual talent but also promotes cultural diversity and linguistic harmony.
