Assam: One killed, another injured in tragic bike accident on Kokrajhar bridge

One person died and another was critically injured in a tragic road accident that occurred early morning, June 20, on the Samoka River bridge near Alangi Bazar in Kokrajhar's Bishmuri area.
 

According to eyewitnesses, a high-speed motorcycle lost control while crossing the bridge and plunged into the Samoka river. 

The impact of the crash resulted in the death of one person at the scene, while the other rider sustained serious injuries.

Upon receiving information, Kokrajhar police rushed to the spot, recovered the deceased’s body, and immediately shifted the injured person to Kokrajhar Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

Sources at the hospital informed that the injured victim suffered a broken leg and remains under medical observation.

At the time of filing this report, the identities of both individuals involved in the accident had not been confirmed. Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
