The individual, identified as Simbhu Dayal, was scheduled to board an IndiGo flight to Rajasthan when the bullet was detected at the security checkpoint.

During preliminary questioning, Dayal claimed he was unaware of how the bullet ended up in his bag. He also alleged that insurgent groups in Arunachal Pradesh had repeatedly demanded money from him over time.
Following the discovery, Mohanbari police took him into custody for interrogation. Officials have launched an investigation to determine the source of the ammunition and whether there are any security threats involved.
Authorities are currently verifying Dayal’s background and examining potential links to any unlawful activities.
Further updates are awaited as the investigation progresses.
