Assam Police identify suspects in murder of Ibrahim Ali in Bajali

Last night, six assailants forcibly entered Ibrahim Ali's residence at approximately 8:30 PM. According to CCTV footage, the attackers first assaulted Ibrahim on the verandah, stabbing him in the neck with a sharp weapon. Subsequently, they shot him in the stomach with a machete.

Amidst the chaos, Ibrahim's mother, recognizing one of the assailants, attempted to intervene but was injured in the process. The entire sequence of events was captured on CCTV cameras installed around Ibrahim Ali's house.

Local authorities, including the Bajali Superintendent of Police, have swiftly identified the perpetrators involved in this heinous crime. They assured the public that the culprits will soon be apprehended.

Zakir Hussain Sikdar, MLA of Chhoti Kshetri Sabti, expressed deep concern over the incident, stating, "Today around 8 PM, some assailants broke into the house, called Ibrahim Ali outside, and then attacked him. They stabbed him with a machete and even shot him with a pistol. He succumbed to his injuries while being taken to the hospital. We have a good relationship with Ibrahim's father, Ismile. We have never heard of such a gruesome incident before. I met with the Bajali SP and urged them to apprehend the culprits quickly. The authorities are now investigating, and the locals are also demanding that the perpetrators be brought to justice."
