Assam: Rhino found dead in Kaliabor Tea Estate, cause of death unknown

The carcass of a rhinoceros was found in the Sonari branch of Assam's Kaliabor tea estate on May 14.

The massive creature, known to have ventured out in search of sustenance from its natural habitat, was discovered in garden number 19, sparking concern among locals and conservationists alike.

Forest department personnel swiftly descended upon the scene, their presence indicative of the gravity of the situation. 

Local residents, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that the rhino had been a familiar sight in the tea garden for an extended period, highlighting the intricate interplay between man and nature in this picturesque corner of the world.

Despite the meticulous efforts of authorities, the cause of the rhino's untimely demise remains shrouded in uncertainty.
