<p>"I will not quit BJP," Chetia declared, putting an end to the ongoing rumours regarding his political allegiance.</p>

<p>"These kinds of rumours are completely baseless and are only meant to create a rift between the party members," he added.</p>

<p>He further added, "Such rumours won't break our spirits and we will come out stronger."</p>

<p>Bolin Chetia was conferred with the chairmanship of Assam Gas Company Limited in 2022.</p>
