Assam: Saikhong Basumatary and Sajal Kumar Singh take oath as BTC executive members

Saikhong Basumatary and Sajal Kumar Singha were officially sworn in as executive members of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) during a ceremony at the BTC Legislative Assembly building in Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar.
 

Saikhong Basumatary is United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) Member of Council Legislative Assembly (MCLA) from Chirang, while Sajal Kumar Singha is BJP MCLA from Srirampur. 
 

The oath of office and secrecy was administered by BTC Principal Secretary Akashdeep in the presence of BTR Chief Pramod Boro, Speaker Katiram Boro, Deputy Speaker Abhiram Mohanayak.
 

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several prominent dignitaries, including Lok Sabha MP Joyanta Basumatary, and BTC Executive Members Ranjit Basumatary and Dr. Nilut Swargiary, among other distinguished guests.
