<p>According to reports, a four-wheeler rammed into the scooter before fleeing the scene. The injured rider, identified as Haren Deka, a resident of Sholmari, sustained serious injuries in the collision.</p>

<p>He was initially rushed to Morigaon Civil Hospital in a 108 ambulance. However, after assessing his condition, doctors referred him to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment as his condition remained critical.</p>

<p>Eyewitnesses alleged that the driver of the four-wheeler fled through Gorom Bazar immediately after the accident. Police have launched an investigation and are attempting to trace the vehicle involved.</p>
