Assam: Tableau competition in Boko captures spirit of Rongali Bihu with powerful visual narratives

In a vibrant tribute to Assam’s cultural pride, an eye-catching tableau competition was organized in Nadiyapara, Boko, Assam as part of the Rongali Bihu celebrations.


The event showcased an extraordinary fusion of tradition, patriotism, and artistic expression, drawing large crowds from across the Bako area.

Twelve teams participated in the event, each presenting meticulously crafted tableaux that reflected poignant social and national themes.


 Notable depictions included a dramatic recreation of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, a living statue of musical legend Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, and realistic fighter aircraft installations. 


These visually compelling displays captivated spectators and brought attention to contemporary issues as well as Assam's proud legacy.

Locals thronged to witness the creative spectacle, making the event a cultural highlight of the season. Organizers and participants alike expressed satisfaction over the overwhelming public response and the opportunity to convey messages of unity, resilience, and heritage through art.
