Assam: Two teenage girls go missing in Margherita, families seek urgent help
Two teenage girls, Aishaa Khatun of No. 1 Lajum and Shubha Das of Balukhad in Margherita, have been missing since September 1, sparking anxiety and distress across the region.
Shubha Das, who worked as a domestic helper in a house at No. 1 Lajum, was reportedly accompanied by Aishaa Khatun when both left Lazum around 1 pm on September 1 to return to Shubha’s residence. Since then, no trace of either girl has been found.
Their families have conducted extensive searches and filed a complaint at Margherita Police Station, but investigations have yet to yield any leads. Authorities are appealing to the public for information.
