Assam: Unidentified bodies found floating in Tirap river

Local residents were startled today as the bodies of unidentified individuals were discovered at Phulbari Ghat in the Tirap river, Jagun. The shocking revelation unfolded when locals spotted the lifeless bodies floating in the river, prompting immediate action from authorities.

According to a witness account, "I didn't see at first. My family member woke me up and brought me here to see. I was sleeping because I was tired after work. So, everyone was here, including our president. Then we saw. The body came floating."

Jagun police swiftly responded to the scene, where the bodies were found, and initiated investigations into the matter. As of now, the identities of the deceased remain unknown, leaving the community gripped with uncertainty and concern.
