Assam: Unidentified dead body recovered from a field in Dhing

An unidentified dead body recovered from a field in Sahoriya village under the jurisdiction of Dhing Police Station in Nagaon district has created a sensation in the area.

Locals suspect that the person was murdered and the body was dumped there.

Eyewitnesses reported visible signs of injury on the face and body.

The body was discovered in the morning by someone who had gone to work in the field and immediately informed the police.

Police from Dhing and Ahatguri outposts arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it to Nagaon for post-mortem examination.
