Assam: Woman killed by freight train in Bongaigaon

An unidentified woman lost her life after being hit by a goods train near New Bongaigaon Railway Gate No. 2 in Bongaigaon district.

One of the witnesses informed the police that the accident occurred around 6:30 am.

The incident, which took place in New Bongaigaon village, shocked locals and railway authorities. Upon receiving information about the accident, a railway police team swiftly arrived to assess the situation. 

The railway police team immediately initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances leading to the woman's death.
