Assam: Young woman injured in Ganeshguri road accident, Dumper seized

A young woman was seriously injured in a road accident at Ganeshguri on Tuesday (March 12) after being hit by a speeding dumper. The police have seized the vehicle involved in the incident.

According to reports, the woman was riding a scooty (registration number AS01FY0796) and was traveling from Dispur towards GS Road when a dumper (registration number AS06AC5995) struck her. The impact left her severely injured.

Eyewitnesses immediately alerted the authorities, and police reached the scene promptly. The injured woman was rushed to Dispur Hospital for medical treatment. Her current condition remains unknown.

Following the accident, police took control of the dumper and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
