Assam Youth League begins in Kokrajhar

The Assam Youth League 2025 U-13, U-15 Group C & U-17 Group B commenced at Kokrajhar District Sports Association stadium.

Organised by Kokrajhar District Sports Association under the aegis of Assam Football Association, the league will continue till February 4.

Assam Football Association Honorary Secretary, Dr Sangrang Brahma said that the Youth League is being organised at different venues at Kokrajhar, Tezpur and Karbi Anglong to tap young football talent in the state.

He informed that a total 13 club in U-13, 19 teams in U-15 and 18 teams are participating in U-17 at 

In Kokrajhar,  Assam Warriors Sports Academy, Guwahati takes on Bodoland FC in the inaugural match of U -15.

Dr Sangrang Brahma also said this year Assam Football Association is sending a strong team for the National Games and he expressed confidence that the Assam team will bring glory to the state. 

Vice president of Assam Olympic Association, Kabiranjan Brahma and former Director incharge of SAI Kokrajhar Pradip Brahma participated in the programme.
